Engagement learning from London 2012

We have worked with partners to explore and understand the engagement lessons from London 2012.

Partners from International Development, Arts and Culture and Civic Society were invited to come together to explore the questions that they had about the characteristics which created engagement and which shifted people from cynicism through engagement to passionate involvement.

We worked with some of the architects of the games – LOCOG leaders, volunteers and participants to understand what engaged them.

Finally we also explored how we can use these insights to shape future projects (without the Olympics as a catalyst) – the Everyone Foundation shares learning through tool kits, workshops and conferences.
